Step 12 Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other sex addicts and to practice these principles in our lives

"In Step Twelve, we put our awakening into practice by serving others. With spiritual awareness comes the responsibility, the desire, and the need to help other suffering sex addicts, just as help was freely giving to us." How has my experience in carrying the message to others helped me in my recovery?

What is the basic outline of my story and recovery?

How has sharing this story with the suffering addict helped me stay sober?

There are many ways to help carry the message to the addict who still suffers from helping to keep meetings alive by attending, by serving the group, by answering the phone calls, by helping new meetings get started, by bringing meetings to jails, halfway houses, and other places, and more.
Which actions would help my sobriety if I volunteer to do them?

"One of the most direct and profound ways we can serve other members is by sponsoring them. We walk through the twelve Steps with those we sponsor, passing on what we have learned from those who sponsored us. Ultimately, we carry the message through example." Sex Addicts Anonymous pg 60
Have I volunteered to be available to those who want a sponsor? Am I sponsoring anyone? If so, how has that sponsoring helped my recovery?
